As we come up on the fall season many people experience seasonal allergies. Essential oils can help!
Put 2 drops each of lavender, lemon, and peppermint in a gelatin capsule then take internally. For those who are bolder, mix the oils in a ¼ cup of juice or water, swish 10-20 seconds in the mouth and swallow. Pre-make a blend of the oils, then as needed, put the mix on the fingers and inhale deeply. I hear it works best if you start this regimen before allergy season starts, one capsule a day, then add more per day as needed throughout the season. If you wait until they start it may take a few days for the oils to start taking effect. Let me know how it works for you. ~Gelatin capsules can be bought at your local pharmacy or health food store. You do not have to pay retail prices for these oils. To get the biggest discount, 25%, enroll as a Wellness Advocate (WA). You pay an initial $35 fee to be an IPC and a yearly renewal of $25 at which time you receive a free 15 ml Peppermint valued at $20. So, in essence, it costs $5 to renew. There is no obligation to buy or sell. If you decide to join you would honor me by going through my website,http://mydoterra/mariostfrancis, or use our OILS180 team number, 492375, in the “Enroller” and “Sponsor” boxes when filling out the form. Thanks so much!
You can participate in the Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP) also. This is the smartest way to buy essential oils because you earn free product every time you order and the reward increases up to 30% back at the 13 month mark and thereafter. You only have to order 50 PV (Point Value) each month and essential oils are a full PV product, example: if you pay $20 dollars for an oil, it is 20 PV. The first 3 months you order you would get 2 PV back, by the 13th month you would get back 6 PV/or $6 to spend on product, on that $20 dollar oil. You can use it like cash to buy any essential oils and products they offer. dōTERRA is also a great business if you’re interested. Many people are doing extremely well and have replaced and exceeded their previous income. My best friend with a full-time ministry job and family of 5 now makes in 2 months what he made in 12 months!!! dōTERRA has a 65% + retention rate and is part of the “Wellness Revolution” that is taking place in the US and abroad. dōTERRA is expected to triple it’s business in the next year. I am just getting started in running it as a business but I’m part of a great team that is very supportive and focuses on sharing the oils and educating people about them. Join the OILS180 team ! What are they?
They are pure extracts from various plant parts: bark, leaves, seeds, citrus peels, flowers, etc. They are typically extracted by steam distillation. They are not lipids (fats) so they are not greasy, even though they are called oils. They can be used topically, aromatically, or internally. In any of the three ways they enter the bloodstream and circulate through the body. Oils that contain sesquiterpenes can cross the blood/brain barrier so they are effective for emotional and psychological issues. Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils to improve wellness in body, mind, and spirit. Essential oils are highly concentrated. One drop of Peppermint is equivalent to about 27 cups of Peppermint herbal tea. They naturally contain a wide array of chemical constituents which gives them their active therapeutic properties. They can be calming, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, fungicidal, antiviral, sedative, invigorating–to name just a few. They have no dangerous side effects (unless ingested in very large amounts) and most people are not allergic to them in any way. Always dilute your essential oils before application when you are a beginner. Some essential oils are very strong, or “hot”, for instance Clove, Oregano & Cinnamon, so should be diluted even more with a vegetable, nut, or seed oil before using on the skin. Never use mineral oil or lotions containing it since they prevent essential oils from absorbing as they should. Mineral oil blocks your pores and also blocks the absorption of fat soluble Vitamins – A, D, E, K, and CoQ10. A very good place to use essential oils is on the bottom of the feet–especially for infants, children, and the elderly & frail. The skin there is quite tough, yet there are many blood vessels and capillaries so the oils absorb, quickly enter the blood stream and circulate throughout the body. That is why you can put Peppermint on a child’s feet who has a fever and the fever will come down within 5-10 minutes. Plus you can reapply if the fever does not come down enough. It would be very difficult to overdose on essential oils. The most important thing to remember about essential oils is that “Quality is everything!!!” This point cannot be stressed enough. This is one case in which a cheaper essential oil is usually just that, cheap (low quality, impure, lacking essential components). The first criteria is that an essential oil is certified to be pure. It should have no contaminants including: pesticides, other essential oils, synthetic ingredients, vegetable oil, foreign plant components, etc. The only real way to know this is through testing, which many companies do not perform due to cost. If it is certified pure then it is even better than organic, which only certifies that the plant was grown according to organic criteria, but has no guarantee beyond that. The second criteria is that the essential oil is certified to be therapeutic grade. This means that the natural chemical constituents are there and in the proper ratios to meet the accepted standard for that particular essential oil. This means you can count on that oil to act in the body as expected and be effective. If an oil has been grown, harvested, or distilled under less than ideal circumstances it is likely that it will not meet this criteria. Also, if it has been diluted with a vegetable oil, extended with another essential oil, or a synthetic oil – then it will definitely not meet this criteria and you cannot know what to expect from it: how or if it will perform, if it will be effective at all, and it may even be harmful. Again, testing is the only sure way to know. In the world of Essential Oils there are so many different brands of essential oils and one ought always be concerned about finding the highest-quality oils to use and suggest for people. Well, you have finally found a company that tests their oils several times by hand and in the laboratory before they are packaged for sale and certifies them to be pure and therapeutic grade. They do this through independent laboratories. They will reject any batch of essential oil that does not meet the standard. Now all can have peace of mind in using them for oneself, ones family and in giving and selling them to my friends and clients. These CPTG – Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils are sold by dōTERRA. Visit this website (see the link on this page under Essential Oils) to see the full catalog.
